Recognized for her innovative and principled leadership, Mariaha M. Dean has provided insightful guidance on a long list of high-profile projects; all of which were completed on time, within budget, and with quality workmanship. Among the listing of project successes, are Target Field, home to the Minnesota Twins Baseball. Target Field Stadium more than 1M gross square feet, is LEED Silver Certified building, with unique public art at many of the main gates and pedestrian assembly spaces. The Mn Twins ballpark is one of the nation’s finest, premier, open air, major league sports facilities in the country.

Mariaha’s project team leadership was responsible for delivering the first LEED Platinum Certified building in Minnesota. New Construction of the 180K gross square feet Great River Energy – Corporate Headquarters in Maple Grove, Mn is a landmark project. This project includes photovoltaics (PVs), Wind, and Geothermal as onsite renewable sources of energy. In kind, many building thermal and materials were integrated into the design and construction of the facility, including a green-roof patio, low-emissions and recycled building materials, native plantings, stormwater retention and water re-use. Mariaha Dean was the project management leader of four (4) newly constructed light rail stations in the heart of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. The Central Corridor Light Rail Transit – Green Line showcases various public art, features as coordinated by EDEN Resources in tandem with a the full life cycle of construction management. Mariaha has managed many projects, both large and small; in kind she has led many non-profit special projects and has robust professional experience in both Design and Construction with Jillians Entertainment, GHK at St. Paul Companies, Minneapolis Public Schools and McGough Companies.

Community Focus

Among her trade and community involvements, Mariaha Dean was appointed and is currently serving on The Minnesota Governors Workforce Development Board. She served as President of Association of Women Contractors, WBO member and Minority Goods & Services Association. Mariaha is a champion in her community also serving as a Minnesota Delegate for the Congressional National Prayer Breakfast with President Obama and an advisory board member of The Man Up Club.
